Refund policy

RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL POLICY

This policy applies to consumers who order from Drukdesigns.nl. Your statutory rights always remain applicable.

1. Standard physical products
For physical products that have not been specially made or personalised for you, you generally have a fourteen-day cooling-off period. This period begins on the day after you, or a third party appointed by you, receives the product.

Inform us unequivocally within those fourteen days that you wish to withdraw from the agreement, for example by emailing info@drukdesigns.nl. You then have a further fourteen days to return the product to:

Please include your name, order number and contact details with your return. Package the product carefully. You may inspect the product as you would be able to in a physical shop. If you use it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, a reduction in value may be deducted.

2. Costs and refunds
The direct cost of a normal return shipment is your responsibility, unless we supplied an incorrect, damaged or defective product. In that case, we will provide a suitable solution at no cost.

Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund the payments received for the returned product, including the cost of the standard delivery method offered by us. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded. The refund will be made no later than fourteen days after you notify us of the withdrawal. We may wait until the product has been received or until you provide proof that it has been returned, whichever occurs first.

3. Personalised and custom-made products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specifications or that are clearly personal in nature, such as items featuring a design, name, logo, chosen print or embroidery supplied by you. Please check your choices and files carefully before ordering. This exception does not apply if a product is delivered damaged, incorrectly or otherwise not in conformity with the agreement.

4. Digital content
For digital products, such as an e-book or interactive PDF, the statutory cooling-off period applies until digital delivery begins. The right of withdrawal expires only when:
- you expressly agree in advance to immediate delivery during the cooling-off period; and
- you acknowledge that this causes you to lose your right of withdrawal; and
- we confirm this consent and acknowledgement to you.

If the download has started after these conditions have been met, the digital purchase can no longer be withdrawn. If a file does not work, is damaged or differs from what was promised, please contact us; your statutory rights to a conforming digital product remain in force.

5. Pre-orders
You may cancel a pre-order for a physical product free of charge as long as it has not yet been shipped. After receipt, the normal rules for standard physical products apply. The Dutch second edition of ALIBRIX Volume I is in production and expected to be dispatched around the turn of the month (late September/early October 2026). You can pre-order now. We will dispatch your order as soon as the books arrive. In the event of a significant delay, we will inform you and you may cancel if you wish.

6. Exceptions
In addition to personalised products and digital content whose delivery has lawfully begun, any other statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply. Where relevant, these will be clearly stated before purchase.
